Brainstorm with Nova

One starting point.
Better possibilities.

Bring an idea, a goal, an existing product, a hypothesis, a document, or simply what you know. Nova helps you ask the right question, explore useful directions, and decide what deserves a closer look.

Each scenario keeps its own conversation, memory, expert team, and Topic Map, so you can test a direction without losing the others.

Start with almost anything

You do not need a polished invention

Brainstorming works best when the starting material is real, even if it is incomplete. Nova turns what you bring into a focused scenario and one useful next question.

lightbulb

An idea

Clarify the mechanism, the problem, and what may be genuinely different.

inventory_2

An existing product

Find improvements, hidden invention candidates, and the next version worth building.

experiment

A hypothesis

Define the claim, evidence, falsifier, and cheapest useful test.

flag

A goal or challenge

Turn an outcome into possible approaches, constraints, and decisions.

description

A document or CV

Use your expertise, experience, credentials, and recurring problems as discovery signals.

school

A science or learning question

Shape a safe, measurable experiment or an open invention challenge.

QUESTION?

Choose the question that moves the idea

QUESTION? is a map of useful questions, not a fixed sequence. Start anywhere and change direction as the scenario becomes clearer.

U

What exactly is the invention?

Clarify the mechanism, problem, people, assumptions, and feasibility.

Context and perspective

Change the view without losing the idea

A Theme gives the scenario context. A Frame changes how Nova examines it. They work together, but they do different jobs.

Theme

What should matter here?

Set priorities, values, or a field of opportunity. No theme is always available when you want a neutral view.

Context: Neutral exploration, with no added priority.
Frame

How should we look at it?

Apply one analytical view at a time while keeping the same scenario, conversation, and center topic.

Active view: Who, what, when, where, why, and how.

The right minds for this scenario

Nova recommends a complementary team

The topic, question, Theme, and Frame all shape who can help. Every scenario receives three recommendations with at least one Expert and one Virtuoso.

Free users receive a fixed recommended team and can begin immediately.
Members can accept the team or choose eligible experts from the library.
Nova remains the coordinator, synthesiser, and guide for the next question.

Three conversation modes

Choose how the team thinks with you

Start with one direct synthesised answer, ask Nova alone for speed, or open a roundtable when distinct viewpoints matter.

Synthesised mode
Consumer Product DesignerExpert contribution

The hinge and lock must allow flat storage while creating a continuous protective shell.

Grand Tour CyclistVirtuoso contribution

The fold matters only if it is quick, compact, glove-friendly, and comfortable every day.

Consumer Product Safety & Compliance ManagerExpert contribution

Every locked cell needs repeatable impact and retention performance across the full shell.

Nova merges all three contributions
NOVA, SYNTHESISING 3 AGENTS

The strongest direction combines a clear mechanism with a measurable safety effect.

The team agrees that the linked cell geometry is the candidate core. Define the lock, the impact-load path, and the failure condition before comparing it with known folding structures.

ConfirmedChanges between flat and rigid states
AssumedRepeatable impact performance
MissingLock geometry and failure data
Nova: The useful tension is clear. The next design must connect daily usability with a verifiable continuous load path.
One best next question: What part physically prevents the cells from rotating back under impact?

Explore without mixing the threads

Every scenario remembers only its own path

Try a patent direction, a product improvement, and a career idea side by side. Keep what is useful, duplicate a promising branch, and delete what is not.

Scenario knowledge

Start with a map, then add evidence

Every scenario begins with a Topic Map from model knowledge. Members can review canonical sites and build a grounded knowledge base from captured source material.

From exploration to action

When a scenario is ready, transition it into a project

The work carries forward for review. You keep the scenario and start the existing project journey with a stronger brief.

Questions

Before you start

Do I need an account to try it?add
No. You can begin in a temporary anonymous space. Create a free account from chat when you want to keep the work.
Is a brainstorm scenario already a project?add
No. It is a separate exploration space. When you are ready, you can transition it into the existing project wizard and review everything before creating a project.
Can I explore more than one direction?add
Yes. Each scenario has separate conversation history and memory. Free accounts can retain four active scenarios, and members can create unlimited scenarios.
What happens to an uploaded document?add
Documents are managed by the Vault. The interface shows whether a file is temporary or retained and gives you the appropriate Vault action when you want to discard it.
Does Nova decide whether something is patentable?add
Nova gives a calibrated early assessment, identifies what is promising or missing, and helps you define the next useful step. It does not replace legal advice or a full prior-art examination.
