A membership is a subscription on your account, at Member, Pro or Max. It follows you across every idea and every project, and it sets your allowances. It is never required to build a project or to reach a filing, and it discounts project grades by 20% on your first and 5% on every one after. Prices are in US dollars and are shown without tax. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies, and is shown before you pay.

The member discount

20% off your first grade, 5% off every one after.

Applied automatically at checkout while your membership is active, and shown before you pay. Five rules attach to it, and they are the same in every market.

It applies while the membership is active at the moment of purchase. If your membership later ends, nothing you already bought is affected and no discount is reclaimed.

Membership questions

Do I need a membership to finish a project or to file? add
No, and you never will. A project grade stands on its own: a free account holding Bronze, Silver or Gold gets everything that grade promises. A membership is the exploring layer across all your ideas.
What happens if my membership lapses? add
Your account returns to the free tier. Nothing is deleted: your projects, files, documents and history remain, and everything you generated stays viewable. Capabilities that needed a paid level become unavailable, and projects beyond the free allowance become read-only rather than being removed. Any grade you bought is untouched.
How do I cancel? add
From inside the service, at any time. Cancelling takes no more steps than subscribing did. It takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep everything you paid for until then.
Can I change my mind? add
A first membership is refunded in full if you cancel within fourteen days of your first payment. The full position is in the Refund Policy.
What does upgrading cost? add
The new level at its list price, less a credit for the unused part of your current term, worked out on whole days against what you actually paid. The credit is shown on the order before you confirm. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current term.
Will my renewal price change? add
Only at a renewal, never mid-term, and you get at least thirty days' notice of any new price before it is charged.
