Use IPGuru from Hermes Agent

Hermes Agent is an open-source agent from Nous Research. Add IPGuru to its config file, sign in with your IPGuru account, and install the IPGuru skill with one command.

Add IPGuru to the config file

Add this to ~/.hermes/config.yaml:

Sign in

hermes mcp login ipguru

Hermes prints a sign-in link and opens your browser when it can. Sign in on IPGuru's page, check the permissions (Read, Write and Spend), and choose Continue.

One command

hermes skills install https://ipguru.ai/assets/downloads/skills/ipguru/SKILL.md --name ipguru

Hermes fetches the skill and its reference files together. Or unzip ipguru-skill.zip into ~/.hermes/skills/, so the main file is at ~/.hermes/skills/ipguru/SKILL.md. See the Hermes Agent guide to skills.

Hermes Agent and IPGuru

  • First prompt. Start with: "Use IPGuru to open my session and list my scenarios with their Idea scores and app links. Keep this read-only."
  • An agent that runs on its own. Hermes can act without you watching. The IPGuru skill tells it to ask before it spends your allowance. If you do not want it to spend at all, set its OAuth settings to ask only for the read and write permissions. See its MCP guide.
